Espresso vs. Regular Coffee

Espresso has around 10-12% of dissolved coffee solids in your cup, as opposed to around 2% in traditional coffee. This is noticeable in both intensity and flavor. Because so much of the coffee beans ends up in your cup, it's important to use good quality beans.

Grind size, temperature, and pressure are all very important when making espresso. Beans need to be finely ground, water needs to be around 90-95 Celsius, and the temperature and pressure are usually built into your machine.
